Big government is to blame for increasing the plague of homelessness.

Housing first-seems simple:

• doesn’t work if you don’t have rules and structure
• doesn’t work if there is no treatment, no case management, no help
• doesn’t work if the cost is astronomical
• doesn’t work if can only reach a small percentage of the homeless
• doesn’t work if people aspire to be on the dole
• doesn’t work if you provide them with drugs, alcohol, instructions on how to inject
• doesn’t work if it is easier to get high
• doesn’t work if you tell them to “enjoy your high”
