He found that the United States differs from other nations—a government by the people based upon liberty, equality, individual responsibility, representative democracy, states rights and laissez-faire economics. America, as a nation, is unique in human history and is thus perceived both domestically and internationally as superior to other countries. It is the only nation that has survived 250 years under the original written document—the U.S. Constitution.
