Return to a Natal Place: The Importance of Home by Veronica Michalowski (Author)

The theme for this book emerges from the Great Pandemic of 2020. At this time with shelter-in-place, there is no sanctuary more important than HOME. When looking over the collection of poems I had written the past few of years, this concept permeated the group and fit the unique COVID-19 world. Starting with physical architecture and moving to emotional security, the idea of environment—place—was apparent. And so I include poems about a variety of personalities, visitors, talents of those living within as well as philosophies of what HOME represents.
