That’s a lot of money!  But only the beginning for  Covington Catholic High School student, Nicolas Sandmann, as his suits against news organizations that misrepresented an incident at the Lincoln Memorial in 2019. A total of 13 different news organizations may be sued. 

The cancel culture has met its match.  Will it learn?  Will news organizations, in particular, return to honest reporting?  Will individuals suffering similar treatment take a stand?  Enough suits and maybe fake news will at least be authenticated before publishing.  

Now, how about those on social media? Can they be sued and will they suffer the same?  You can’t get money out of someone who doesn’t have anything but you might be able to still them.
