Birthday girl, Cindy, spent New Year’s Day welcoming in 2020 on the Ruby Princess Sun Deck and then swirling her skirt on the runway in the Princess fashion show.
New Year’s Eve was a formal dress night on board so I donned my “western” tux (worn when we were married 10 years ago) and Cindy premiered her new red jump suit—what a beauty!
In fact, as we were strolling in the Piazza, Valerie, the shopping consultant, stopped Cindy and raved “what a beautiful jump suit.” Of course they began talking and Valerie extended Cindy an invitation to perform in the fashion show. As an after thought, Valerie asked me since she needed a male model too.
Valerie selected a $400 Joseph Ribkoff red dress and a Swarovski crystal swan neckless and bracelet for Cindy. For me she selected a Maori short sleeved shirt with matching shorts. I added the Princess hat and “T” shirt to complete my outfit.
We were the highlights of the afternoon as we strutted on the runway of the Princess Theater. Accolades follow us everywhere as we stroll the decks of our ship.
