Simplify the TSA checkpoint procedure

Passengers must have three items to enter the TSA checkpoint at an airport

  1. Identification (real ID or passport)
  2. Ticket/s for all flights, the checked luggage receipt is to be attached to the ticket/s
  3. Credit card (If you wish to purchase desired items once in the gate area)

Nothing else may be carried in. Nothing. No purse, no phone, no computer, no wallet, no glasses case, nothing in your pockets.

No longer may you take any personal items through the TSA checkpoint and into the gate area—they must be packed in your luggage.

Only one piece of luggage allowed.

Everything must be packed in one piece of luggage that will be checked and X-rayed.

Additional luggage can be sent by USPS, UPS, FedEx or other package delivery service if necessary

You disagree with these requirements, don’t expect to fly. There are trains and cars and, well, just don’t go.

These procedures will eliminate the X-ray screening at TSA checkpoints thus reducing the time to go through the checkpoint as well as reduce the number of TSA agents required.

One piece of luggage per passenger will simplify luggage handling.

Tough rules for tough times.
