Dearest Heavenly Father,

   As the sun aways follows the darkness of night, so our days of light are followed by shadows and darkness.  We would not know light if there were no darkness. 

We are blinded in the darkness.  Our faith in you gives comfort that light will come again.

   Science boasts of its discovery that one day the sun will implode.  They claim their studies go beyond the wisdom of the Bible; they ridicule believers who retell “fairy tales.”   They believe science will prove many things that make faith look foolish. 

   Yet, we remember this from Your teachings; long before man invented the first telescope, You said “the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out its garment and people will die.”   

     Dear Father, our faith shall live.  Your Love is our light for You are God.  Your Love nurtures the faith that sees the unseen of God in all things.

Rejoice in the Lord always…
